welcome
I have been treating patients in the Hampshire and Berkshire area with acupuncture and herbal medicine since 1997. I enjoy general practice and family health, in addition to a special interest in women's health, including fertility (enhancing natural fertility, treating infertility and offering IVF support). My other areas of interest are acute and chronic pain management, the treatment of mood disorders, cancer support and treating problems associated with the ageing process.

acupuncture and herbal medicine
The ancient healing art of acupuncture and Chinese medicine has been practiced in China and the Far East for thousands of years. It is a natural, safe and effective form of healthcare, used to treat and help prevent a wide range of illnesses, in people of all ages.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine aims to restore the flow of vital energy, also called the natural life force, and thereby promotes healing and revitalisation in the body. This facilitates and supports the body's innate ability to heal itself and to maintain optimal levels of wellbeing. The appeal of this system is that it treats the person according to their own unique nature as opposed to their disease. It takes into account a patient's individual pattern of physical, emotional and mental energies in order to resolve their health problems and to improve their constitution. It can also be used as a preventative measure by strengthening immunity, improving vitality and slowing the ageing process to age 'youthfully'. The effectiveness of acupuncture can be enhanced using any combination of the following techniques: cupping, moxibustion, dietary advice, lifestyle advice, and herbs.
